Our client are specialists in the design, supply, execution and maintenance of the latest renewable generation systems in the market. As they continue to expand operations across the UK, they are looking for a dedicated Site Foreman for various sites across the UK.
Your key responsibilities will include leading and enforcing all health and safety protocols on-site, conducting regular inspections and safety meetings. Develop and implement safety procedures and ensure adherence by all on-site personnel. Manage project schedules, coordinating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet project deadlines. Oversee timesheets and labour allocation, ensuring accurate recording and efficient use of resources. Act as a mentor and leader for on-site teams, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain positive relationships and ensure project requirements are met. Collaborate with the head office team, providing daily updates, weekly progress reports, and coordinating logistical support. Maintain detailed records of site activities, progress reports, and any incidents for documentation and analysis. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced efficiency on-site.
This position, operating on a 3/4-day workweek basis across various sites, with at least one day per week at the head office. The Site Foreman will be instrumental in leading the company’s health and safety protocols, managing timesheets, schedules and ensuring projects are completed on time. Reporting to Operations Director, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
To qualify for this role, you will be suitably qualified and have prior experience within the industrial roofing industry, ideally with solar/renewables experience. You will be SSSTS or SMSTS, working at heights certs. and ideally be IOSH qualified. You will have a strong personality and have clear and effective communication skills as you will be the central point of contact for liaising between on-site teams, subcontractors, project managers, and clients.
