Laser Operative

We’re currently recruiting for experienced Laser Operatives to join a busy shop floor environment in Teesside, working with a well-established steel plate specialist.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability and progression within a growing business.

The Role:
• Operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Cutting steel plate to precise specifications and tolerances
• Loading and unloading materials safely
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Monitoring machine performance and quality output
• Carrying out basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks
• Working closely with the wider fabrication team

Requirements:
• Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery (essential)
• Experience working with steel plate in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a team
