This is a full-time on-road role for a Service Engineer for North East England and Scotland, responsible for the supply, installation, and servicing of compressed air treatment and gas generation equipment at customer sites. The Service Engineer will troubleshoot, provide field service, technical support, preventative maintenance, and repair on all customer equipment with the main objective of minimizing downtime. The right candidate will also be required to carry out breathing air tests, bacteria testing and air leak surveys.
A Company Van, Mobile Phone and Laptop will be provided along with any specialist tooling.
Proven skills and experience in troubleshooting, field service, technical support, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear and concise technical instructions and documentation. Ability to work independently and remotely with a high level of self-motivation and time management. Customer service-oriented mindset to ensure customer satisfaction and develop long-term relationships. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions. Relevant technical qualification e.g. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is desirable
· Previous experience in a field based service role is essential
· Experience in the compressed air industry is essential
· Sound electrical & mechanical fault-finding experience
· F Gas certificate preferred but not essential.
· Current UK driving license
