Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Biased Project Coordinator to join their expanding solar energy team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of solar projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background and be adept at managing project coordination tasks from initial site surveys through to final audits.
To qualify, you must have previous experience in commercial solar projects, educated to ONC / HNC or similar and it is essential that you have a Level 3 City & Guilds 2382 (Requirements of BS7671:2008 17th Edition), City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 – Initial Verification, City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 – Periodic Inspection & Testing, relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering – BS7671 and 2391 Electrical Testing, a proven experience in project coordination within the solar industry or a similar field and a strong knowledge of electrical systems, particularly in relation to solar PV installations. It’s also desirable that you have City & Guilds 2396 Level 4 – Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Installations, City & Guilds 2372 Installation & commissioning of Solar PV systems also a degree in electrical engineering is desirable.
The successful person will be working out of the office based in Manchester and will report into the Operations Director. The role will involve working closely with the Electrical supervisor, Project Coordinator, installation teams (Electrical and Roof) and sub-contractors.
