ROLE OBJECTIVES
The Process Operator reports to the direct supervisor on a shift by shift basis.
Meet the Manufacturing performance targets as detailed by the manufacturing/building manager and as agreed with internal and external customers.
Meet site safety standards and no lost time incidents or major incidents impacting on the site’s operation.
Meet regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001, ISO14001 and cGMP as well as the requirements of cross contamination prevention.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out Operator tasks and duties when required,
- Undertake tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Monitoring of Permit activities as requested by the supervisor.
- Understanding of BMS Risk Assessments & Method statements.
- Process data entry to BMS (OEE, handover logs, yield etc.) Data entry onto batch cards and QA015 packaging.
- Compliance with Housekeeping Schedules.
- SHE & Q compliance.
- Organisation of own workload.
- Training and coaching of 3 operators.
- Assessing of multi skilling activities (check job completion).
- Carrying out duties in other production areas as required.
- Monitoring of raw materials requirements and informing supervisor when finished products are suitably packaged for movement to the warehouse.
- Participate as required in design/Hazard reviews.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
FOL Grade 2 Operator or NVQ Process Operations Level 2
Data (literacy and numeracy) and computer literate and conversant with BMS Manufacturing elements.
