Controls Engineer

Paisley Site Services is seeking a Controls Engineer to collaborate with the senior controls team, offering support for operational assets and overseeing system installations in new sites. This role, reporting to the Projects Director, involves configuring cloud-based SCADA systems, updating PLC software remotely, and addressing electrical and communication issues. The position requires ensuring the functionality of control systems, resolving any arising issues, and conducting on-site visits when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
– Configuration of cloud-based SCADA systems
– Updating PLC software for remote deployment
– Providing support on electrical, control, and communication matters

Skills and Competencies:
– Self-motivated and independent
– Proficient in PLC programming and communication protocols
– Experienced in SCADA configuration and IT networking
– Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
– Strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Desired Experience:
– Knowledge of MQTT and AWS
– Familiarity with Siemens S7 PLCs and programming environments
– Proficiency in software analysis and modification

Qualifications:
– Degree in a relevant Engineering field
