We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a friendly team in Durham. Supported by the operations director and project teams, the contract manager will be expected to survey works, price small works, programme projects and attend site and client meetings.

Duties include:

•             Conduct regular contract performance meetings.

•             Collect, collate, store, and distribute all statutory documentation and certification.

•             Site visits, quality checking and working with project managers.

•             Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business.

•             Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales.

•             Discussing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the terms of business contracts.

•             Sending regular updates of work progress to clients.

•             Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site, and project managers.

•             Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards.

•             Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project.
